Folk Singer

Scotland and Ireland

Two lands entwined throughout the centuries by a variety of common bonds few stronger than the music that is played and enjoyed by locals and visitors alike and was the inspiration for the albums features here.
Wander into the Taybank Hotel in Dunkeld Perthshire on most evenings and you will most likely find guitars, fiddles and an accordion or two playing away round a log fire, coupled with a pint or perhaps a dram and soak up the ambience This phenomenon known simply as a “session” is common in both countries and attracts musicians from “A’ the Airts”

I hope you enjoy the photographs and the music!
